A friend of mine has a problem with one of the original G4's and OS X 2.8
(Jaguar ). There is an issues with setting the Ethernet speed permanently
to 10Mbps. This solves issues with some routers and hubs.

He needs to have the default speed set to 10Mbps so that it is not reset
even when the G4 comes out of sleep mode.

Any ideas? This appears to be an issue that later OS solve but an upgrade is
not wanted right now.

Perhaps there is some serious of commands that can be enterd in a command
mode (Unix style) or some setup file that can be modified.
