Does 50 watts make a difference?

I am not planning on dual GPU's and am going to get the Antec NEO HE 550w or the FSP 600w. There is a $10 price difference and want to know if an extra 50w is worth $10.

Of the two I would choose the Antec NeoHE 550. 50w is not a big deal for in a single GPU PC. In fact, 550w is overkill. Reasons to go with Antec NeoHE:

1. $10 cheaper.
2. Up to 85% efficient PSU, Fortron is not up to 85% efficient.
3. Quieter.

I know 550w is probably overkill, but with the future of GPU's I might need it later.

I guess I can get a NEo HE 500w and save $13 over the 550. I might need the extra power to OC...I'll be getting an E6600 and would like to push it to about 3.0-3.2 ghz (or highter) on air.

its 10 bucks, get the 550w.

Unless you have specific upgrade plans that will use the 600 wts, save your money and buy the Antec 550 wt.
