ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 display driver amd stopped responding and has recove

I am using Dell's 23" All-in-One with Windows 7, 64 Bit version.
I getting the Display driver error saying - " stopped responding and has recovered "
Please advise me how to fix it.

  1. Go here and download and install the Catalyst Software Suite. This will install the most current drivers for your video card and should fix the problem:

    My bad luck! The problem remains, in spite of me running the Catalyst Software.
    Any new ways of getting rid of this annoying popups?

    What is the specific model of your Dell?
  4. I found your model. Go to the Dell Website below:

    Make sure your BIOS is up to date. Also, I would suggest you install both the Dell chipset and video drivers for your rig. Sometimes Dell tweaks peripherals in such a way that you need to use their drivers for optimal performance.

    If the error continues after following these steps, I suggest you contact Dell. The error you are seeing is fairly common and updating drivers usually takes care of it.
