Maybe. If the voltage pins will line up, and assuming the voltage of the 3 pin slot is the same as the fan.

In other words, you need more information.

I would think there would be connector issues as well. But if one were to find the proper spare connector, the red one is the positive, the black is negative, and the other is the speed indicator.

Probably the voltage is the same. It would say on the sticker on the back of the hub of the fan. Don't forget to check the amperage! If it is significantly greater for the replacement, it will not function as well as it should and will burn out prematurely.

The fan won't burn out as long as the voltage is the same. If anything, if the fan pulls too much current, it would burn out the [whatever it's plugged into] but I doubt that would happen with a single fan, but you never know.

As far as the connector...if the pins line up, but the connector won't allow it to plug in....get out the dremel tool. :wink:
