Downloader Agent Virus

AVG works great but I seem to have a very strange virus that clings to my PC
like a leech. It always bears the name: "Downloader Agent ......etc. (where
the numbers vary)" but the location changes almost daily. Sometimes it is
found (by AVG) in a file I can easily scan and remove to AVG's "vault". And
other times AVG claims it is in a file that when you try to open it is empty
and when you scan it AVG claims there is no virus there. Am I crazy or does
this virus move itself?

Have run anti-spyware, like AdAware from Lavasoft or PestPatrol?

I would still like to know if viruses can be programmed to move themselves?

You're welcome. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of how to reply to posts
in here.
