I can see your picture and the problem usually has to do with your Internet connection, and/or router. It could also be that there are some settings that need adjusted but most likely not. If your Internet is working fine and there are no messages popping up saying that it has limited or no connectivity then you shouldn't need to do anything about it.

Whice icon are we looking at ?

The internet icon (screen) showing a busy / circle over the top is normal on start up as Windows is looking for your internet connection.

The red V Im guessing is AV software ?

no you can not directly insert pics in this forum

the circle over your internet connection icon means your computer is reestablishing your connection to the internet, as long as it goes away in a little while and you have network access then it is working properly

the red V is actually a K and it is for kaspersky

LOL i know what my icons are,i know what that circle means, but i dont know why the loading icon stays there all the day,i think something must be blocking the icon,so its not changing back to normal after finding the red.if i unplug my ethernet cable and put it back on it fixes it.

but do you know what the clock is for j/k

if it is not finding the network you can try resetting the router your connecting to; and if that doesn't work then uninstall, reboot and reinstall your nic driver

I get similar busy icon on Intel Wi-Fi 5100 Wireless Network. This happens on start ups, it stays like that for 3-5 minutes then goes away, and then the normal icon pops up showing signal quality strength. It’s intermittent though.

When I get the busy wi-fi icon, usually Windows Media Player 12 can't play Mp3's too, until the busy icon goes away.

yes,but the thing is the busy icon is not going away...if i disable and enable it it will be back to normal but i dont want to do this every startup...

OK,i got it fixed, :wahoo: uninstalled 'spybot search & destroy' i was sure that the tea timer thing did block the change of icon,if you know what i mean.
It just says block or allow and a name that you don't even recognise, and you won't see any extra info about it. :non: there's no way to find it and allow it again.
Thanks
