I need someone to help me getting a water cooling for an AM2 processor since its new i dont know many types of waterblocks that support that processor. The stock fan do a great job with my 3800+ but i want to overclock that to the max stable posible and i need a good water cooling. Also i want to know when the ppl is saying that some cooler supports all processor types (754/939/940) when they say 940 they are talking about AM2 or they are talking about the operton

How much are you willing to spend?

If $250 then I suggest the Swiftech H20 Ultra.

And get this adaptor.

If you take the system I listed and add a gpu block then it's just over $300. You could always DYI and buy separate parts but the pump in that kit is excellent and the CPU block is pretty good. The Storm is better but costs 50% more.

If you can afford it I'd get:

CPU block: Swiftech Storm
GPU block: Danger Den Koosah
Reservoir: Anything will work, use a 5.25" drive bay one as they are the easiest to deal with.
Pump: Swiftech MCP655 or Danger Den D5
Radiator: Swiftech MCR220 or Danger Den Black Ice II
Fans: Depends on what you want... get a fan controller for them so you can turn them down when you aren't gaming.
Coolant: Distilled water with which ever additive you want
Tubing: Tygon 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD

Everything above should be around $400.

and when a cooler block or a heatsink is refering with their support (i.e 754/939/940) the 940 socket is refering to the operton right?
