Question on why my memory isn't performing 100%

I have 2GB of Corsair DDR2 800 (Cas5) and ran this on my P5B Deluxe Wifi board.

Like hundreds of people I jumped on the conroe wagon to find that none are available, so I'm stuck with a motherboard, ram, and no processor.

So I picked up a D 805 to have some overclocking fun. (got it to 3.6 no problems will try to bump to 3.85 tonight). However I had a question on why my RAM is running slower than 800mhz.

Is it due to the fact that the FSB on the D805 is 533mhz that my ram can only run to match that? I know when I overclock the FSB speed should increase but not to 800... seems on my board I can't select anything other than 533, 667, and 800 (though I didn't check fully).

Any insight into this?

Oh yeah, and hi guys!

That's the first thing I did. Once I set it higher the board wouldn't post so I had to reset CMOS.

Do people have the D805 running with DDR2 800?
