7900GS Coming to a Desktop near you

It looks as though nVidia is releasing the 7900GS to the desktop market to duke it out with the new X1650 coming out from ATI. IIRC the 7900GS was only available for the mobile market.

Is the X1650 really going to be competing with the 7900GS? If the X1650 has 128-bit memory (which is probably will have), it seems more like a competitor for teh 7600 series.

Sorry, my post was a little misleading but if you look at the price point of the 7900GS compared to the X1650XT, they will be competitors even though it looks like the X1650XT is more comparable to the 7600GT which will be in the <$150 catagory.
