Ok folks! In what store do you buy or order your parts and games from??
Personally, sometimes I order from NCIX.com, Compusmart.com and other local shops. It depends on the price. I'm interested to know where the other people in Gatineau get their parts...might be useful to me!
Parts from Newegg.com, games from...well, I bought a game from Best Buy last week, and I remember buying Tribes 2 from Fry's about a year ago. Other than that...

Parts from Newegg, and less expensive stuff from random places on pricewatch. As for games....uh is MIRC and Kazaa a store....I mean...I mean...j/k I usually buy em at Compusa or online from whoever has them cheapest.
I typically order as much as possible from newegg.com. Even if I have to pay an extra $5-10 more for a particular part. I suppose I could say that they have earned my loyalty and I've never been done wrong by them. Whenever i had a problem they were quick to fix it.
As for games.......the last game I payed for was Baldurs Gate II TOB expansion. Other than that I cant remember the last game I payed for.
Games i used to buy from EB but their prices have gone up conpaired to other places. Now i but from Bust Buy because It is close to my house, Its cheeper than EB or other places. Sometimes i find a good deal at circutcity though, one time i found Maxpayne when it first cam out for $15 which came with a mouse pad, another time when CW just came out and everyplace was selling it for $60 it was $30 at circutcity.
Tolga is a fraud. Trust me, they even put news about RB having false advertising, and even send reps to comment on them. They are frauds, their website is even worse, with little organisation. Sure RB is small but they gained Ottawa's faith, and continue to grow by doing US and Canada shipping. Take a visit to their main website http://www.rbcomputing.com and check some news of a while ago to see how Tolga was really irrational.

The faster a computer is, the faster it will reach a crashed state
Well actually cone, I never pay for software, there is always a way to download free software. Games, operating systems, etc. You should never pay for software, hardware is another issue. I buy online or from a couple of local vendors here in my area. Have to watch who you buy online from though. One company not to buy from is, Sonic Parts, I purchased parts from them and not only did they send me the wrong ram, but they sent me a processor that did not work also.
That is great. Illegally downloading them is fun also. Gives you a good feeling inside. Free software forever. I have a huge software library. None of it was bought.
Yay! Announce it to the public so everyone can hear. I actually end up getting most of my OS's from my dad's company cuase they buy enough licenses to allow workers to use it on home comp as well.
I go to this store to buy my stuff. It's a little more expensive than on line but you don't have to worry about shipping and handling, insurance and returns. So it usually works out to a comparable price.
Prices are in Canadian dollars.
parts from newegg googlegear and a few other shops.... games? .. ahem ahem yo ho ho and a bottle of .. you get the idea

Direct Connect finds almost anything you want, including ISOs and BINs. This thing saved a lot money when I am bankrupt. Although when I have money and there's a very needed game, I will buy it, because I can benefit from warranty and support, as well as multiplayer access. (today's games are very strict on multiple same CD KEYs)
