Yes I was looking for a 24". I was thinking of getting the Samsung 240T. It has everything I want but still thinking because there is always a downside to everything but I just haven't figure it out yet. Price I can careless of. Just quality and features. Purpose would be just the computer and maybe have a tv tuner to it. That's bout it. Nothing special. Just want a nice LCD. Thx for the reply!
damn, you wanna touss me some money... hehe money=careless
anyway i think the samsung and viewsonic is good, but then also if you go to dell.com they have some expensive monitors also, but i dont know how good they are
the MAC looks real good, and its not hat extreamly expensive also. i even think i might get a Imac for the kitchen, but i wonder the refresh time on the screen.
he may mean response time. I believe I read somewhere it was 40ms, but don't take that as the final say, as I'm not 100% sure on it. 60Hz really depends- at native res, yeah.
DAMN are you guys CRAZY? It's not bout the money! It's bout the QUALITY! And I don't need a $15000 computer from IBM as to me IBM is just the name you are paying for. I already have a P4 2.2ghz which is plenty for me. The Apple dual G4's are really GOOD BUT for video editing only. Not really an Apple fan anyways. Response time in a LCD isn't really my problem but the features it has and hoping it's DVI... Thanks for all the post guys!
Thank you all for the posts! Well my mind wants Samsung because it's more known. However the Sun LCD looks crazy but not sure if it's going to perform the way it looks. Also the Samsung 240T has the 2 side panel speakers. So not too sure anymore. Which one would you guys prefer?...
I would go with Viewsonic...there products are good...the Samsung LCD also are good...I would either get 1 of these manufacturers....I got the Vg181... and i think it's really nice... Friend of mine bought the Samsung 170T... Very nice picture and the Price is very good.
Cornerstone also has a 23 incher, but it appears to be the same as the Viewsonic one, and is $500 more though. The 240T is more expensive, but who knows, maybe PVA is slightly better than MVA.
Well I took a quick look at Viewsonic and everything is good cept the max resolution on it is 1280x1024. Cornerstone I didn't see any real special features on it but might be just for the name your paying for. I guess Samsung might still be in the lead?.... Thx for keeping the posts comin!
By JUNE will there be a new Technology for LCD's... making them with Better Resolution...What is a good response time.. My crap monitor that i had that came with my original comp Blew..so i had to run out on short notice and get what i could afford... i went to Circuit city and got an NEC for like 130$ that's basically all i had.. the Edges are Blury..and i hate that.......i don't want my LCD to look like that
The Viewsonic VP230mb has a 1600x1200 res. You sure they just weren't using 1280x0124 cause the vid card couldn't do it in DVI or something- or they were using a splitter?
