I just built my first computer this week, and everything works!

But, my HDD is having issues...according to my computer, my hard drive is being seen as a removable device; much like a jump drive or something you would put in the usb port.

I don't really know what to do to rectify the problem. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
Ragnarok

Some chipsets list sata drives as removeable as they are hot swapable. This means you can add and remove hdd's without turning the computer off. If it's your only drive you will not be doing that but sometimes you have huge files (like with video and audio) which you need to move from one person to the next, and therefore from computer to computer within a company. This is the easiest way to do that.
