memory timings ddr2800 to ddr2 667?

My current setup is as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ AM2
Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 (2 x 1GB)
Asus M2N-SLI

Now i have my cpu clocked to 2.3Ghz (just uping it by 5% in bios) stock vcore, and my memory is down clocked to 667Mhz because of single core cpu...(i wanted 800 for the x2 i will order when vista comes out) but I have the memory model with the 5-5-5-15 timings so since I downclocked should i be able to run it at like 4-4-4-12 ? also i want to over clock my cpu a little further until i reach 2.4 Ghz and thats it...should i have to mess with the memory or vcore at all for such a small overclock? thank you for any help.

Why not get the X2 now? It's really cheap..... You might be able to tighten the timings, but the only way to find out is to try it.

Well i bought the athlon 64 right efore the price drops....so its new and i have it so i might as well use it for a little while, plus I am sure the prices wont be going up real soon so...but someone told me that since i am downclocking it to 667mhz i should be able to tighten timings ppetty easily is this true...? also if i do buy an x2 and have to bring the timings back to stock switching the settings in the bios back to auto should bring them back to stock right?
