Thermaltake has released a new version of the case with the only difference of adding a 25 cm fan on the side. However the price difference is amazing. With mail-in rebate the original at zip zoom fly is 125.00 the new case is $199.00 Sooo $74.00 for one extra fan? Is it worth it? Also I've checked other sites but even newegg wants like $40 buck to ship it even though its on $179.99 there.

No, not really I have the regular side panel on mine and I did a modification and installed an 80mm fan on the side panel to take in more cool air. It cost me $5 for the fan and brought down my cpu temp to 5c lower.

After doing some testing on my old Scorpio 868 Case to determine if truly a side fan helps I didnt see much of a gain only about 2C with a $12 dual ball bareing fan. I now have the original Thermaltake armor case and must say going from my old case to this my average temps have dropped by honestly almost 7C im happy with it now. who knowes maybe thermaltake will offer a upgrade side panel for those that dont need the whole case
