Will product key help a screwed up hard drive?

Good morning, someone added some stupid gaming partition on my laptop. I cant get rid of it. It has used up triple of my memory space, and I cant restore my computer or nothing. If I wipe out my hard drive, will the product key on the bottom of my laptop reinstall windows 7 on my computer?

No, that is just an activation key. There should be a repair partition on the hard drive that contains the necessary files to restore to factory . If this partition is now missing, you will need to contact the laptop manufacturer and request an install CD/DVD.

Where would I go to find the repair partition on my hard drive?

Normally on boot when the bios screen is showing, usually at the bottom of the screen you will see an option like "F12 - repair". If you are not seeing this, then the partition was probably removed.
