I have a linksys wireless router connected to my dsl modem and my desktop. the desktop gets fine speed on the internet. Now i get on my laptop using wireless adapter (by toshiba) and the performance is pathetic.... the internet doesn't demonstrate the problem much but transfers from laptop to my desktop only seem to be going at about 350-400 Kbytes/second. The signal strength is reported as strong (i should hope so... i'm right next to it 
) and everything works but transfer rates are for the birds... can anyone help me out?
