Raid 0 with SATA2

Hi All

Got some newbie questions. Would be great if someone could help me.

1. Is it possible to have raid 0 with 2 sata2 drives?
2. Is this a montherboard which would support it P5W DH DELUXE
3. Do you have to have the exact same drives?
4. Whats better/faster hardware raid 0 or software raid 0

2. I don't know what MB this is.
3. no but I get better performance/ easier setup with matched drives

2. what size do you suggest? Is 250 GB x2 good?

1. Yes that motherboard has a RAID controller so you'll be able to do RAID0.

2. 2 x 250Gb is fine, however, I have found the performance of RAID0 to be ok, not exactly worth the hassle. I currently have 2 drives one with my OS and one for backups including an image of my OS drive so I can recover quickly.

It's a little short on details but google will throw sometime up.
