ok..

i ahve amd athlon 3500 and 1028 ram
if i buy one geforce 7950 and upgrade my cpu to conroe e6600 will this be faster than having amd 3500 and two geforce 7950 in quad sli?

it WILL cost me around about same kind of money...
i think quad sli or SLI system is faster than cpu upgrade to conroe and just one high end card

ok

whichever peforms best for my money... i will wait for geforce 8 and see...

also would you rather have two geforce 8 cards and a dell 30" monitor or a 19" monitor and 4 geforce 8 cards... maybe 4 cards on a 19" monitor is overkill

at the moment i have geforce 6200 and amd 3500 and 512MB ram...
i am waiting for geforce 8 to be released and ati r600
i will ahve to wait more after that to see which ones are best...
i am so busting for geforce 8!

I CANNOT GAME ON THIS P.O.S.

yes?
yes to which one?

Oops, sorry. I wasn't very specific was I!

I would get the E6600 and the 7950gx2. If you look at the benchmarks on www.tomshardware.com quad SLI brings minimal performance increases, sometimes decreases performance!

So my advice, get an E6600 and the 7950gx2 and try and get 2gb of RAM. If you can't afford the 7950gx2 AND 2gb of RAM, get the x1900xt and 2gb of RAM instead.

That's just my advice though.
