Did you note the higher power numbers for all Socket F versions? Generally 95W with some 68W versions compared to 95W and 55W and 30W versions for S940. There's even a 120W Socket F, although if it is 3GHz that could be explainable although others are saying it's a 2.8GHz model. There's also the latency issue associated with Registered DDR2 667 with 5-5-5 timings that I've mentioned before that may or may not be countered by the additional bandwidth. These models certainly aren't going to blow Woodcrest out of the water by any means, and we'll have to see how well those 16MB L3 cache Tulsa's perform before seeing what type of lead AMD has in the 4 socket range.
