What's the real story on the Asus P5W DH Deluxe USB Ports?

I had heard there were some issues with auto PC turn on after power down??? only use the last 1-2 USB ports?

Anyone with this board please clarify the USB port story/issues...how did you get around them?

I dont have my board yet, but from what i understand, the lower 2 ports will be powerd on even if the computer is off. This is how they can have the IR receiver for the remote power on the computer, even while its off. Only problem is if you have a keyboard or some other input device pluged into the other free lower port, then that device will also power on the computer when you hit a keystroke.

So, just plug anything that you want to turn off when the computer is off into one of the uppper 2 ports or any of the other ports you have available. I think they also suggest not to plug in any USB hubs into the lower ports.

I'm glad there is a work-around since this Asus P5W DH board is on my short list or I might wait to Round 2 Conroe boards come out in the next 2-8 weeks?
