Quick conroe power consumption question

Just wondering, I currently have a S754 A65 3000+, Asus K8N4-E Deluxe and 2x512 ddr400 corsair value as you can see in my sig. J/w because when I plan to upgrade christmas early next year to an E6600, mobo and memory, will the power consumption be more, less or about the same of my current setup. I was wondering because I currently have an OCZ 420w PSU (older version with green led, amazingly stable PSU) and I don't want to upgade the PSU yet if I don't have to. Thanks.

I measured the power draw of my E6400 running at 2.9 GHz with 2GB DDR2-667, 250GB SATAII drive, Asus 975X motherboard and a basic GF6200TC.
Running two instances of Prime95 at the most power hungry setting, the system only consumed 136W. When I bumped the Vcore and run it at 3.2 GHz, the consumption rose to 163W. You have loads of leeway there even with a ‘proper’ graphics card.

I bought a Power Meter from Maplin's (UK). They sell for £25 but are often on sale for half price or less, I picked mine up for £10.
