Looks good for the most part. However I would keep a close eye on that power supply as the retailer i deal with(i have a resellers acct.)has had a large number of antec power supplies crapping out on them. This info is recent as of yesterday. But hey like I said looks good to me so have fun and enjoy.

i got the antec from zipzoomfly.com

Had some good review and said its very good overall.

And do you think that 1gb is good for normal use? Will another gig improve my performance a lot?

Another GB will help in *some* games, not very many. It will help with multi-tasking loads, though, and it "future-proofs" you. If you are thinking about getting 2GB down the road, get ONE stick of 1GB, so you can use dual-channel later on.

for everything i spent $1525 and that means everything taxes +shipping.I use newegg.com clubit.com(to get the conroe they only had it) and zipzoomfly.com and atacom.com(for motherboard VERY HARD TO FIND THE p5w deluxe)

I cant post any benchmarks because i dont have the whole pc ready.Cpu will come today and fans also today.BUt motherboard is very hard to get. They said it will ship out probably thursday or monday.SUcks but have to wait.

But once i will get it up and running i will post pictures and benchmarks.

and ikjadoon but is it really a big improvement?Or its only going to be better in games?Because if only in games then i will wait because price of xms2 will drop by january or w/e when i will be getting my new graphic card.

You are doing the EXACT same thing as me.
The C2D E6600 is the best bang for the buck in my opinion and I went with a downgraded graphics card so that I can watch what the tech does in the near future.

WacoTaco.

It looks pretty good but I would have gone with 2 hard disks, a 74GB Raptor and a WD Caviar 250GB or so. Would be about the same as one 150GB Raptor. That way you can reformat and reinstall Windows easily and keep all your important files on a separate HDD.

Well alll he has to do is partition the 150 gb into a 70gb and 80gb. If you aren't into music, video or graphic design a 150gb is usually sufficient.

On the other hand, I have a 150gb raptor and two 320gb 7200rpm drives for data. As the raptor fills up with data it will get slower at the seek times increase.

I've not noticed an increase in games with another 1GB, but it in multi-tasking the programs open up faster, and they have a "zap" to them. 1GB may cause slowdowns in Vista (whenever it gets released), but I don't have have any first-hand experience.

Looks very cool!

I'm getting my new rig tomorrow, which is pretty much the same setup. Except I did get the 2 GB RAM, an 36GB Raptor and a 1900XT, so yeah, think it'll rock, as I hope mine will 8)
