I work night shift and i want to build a HTPC to record the tv i miss while i'm at work. How does this look, i want to try and keep it around $1100. But i want it to have some power so it will last awhile with out upgrading.

Antec FUSION Silver Aluminum/steel MicroATX Media Center Computer Case 430W Power Supply $189.99

ASUS M2NPV-VM Socket AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard $83.99

Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500MCE 253 PCI Interface Dual TV Recorder Tuner Card with Media Center Remote Control $167.99

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Windsor 2000MHz HT Socket AM2 Dual Core Processor Model ADA3800IAA5CU $149.00

CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) $89.99

2x Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive $155.98

ione KBP20 2-Tone USB RF Wireless Mini Keyboard Mouse Included $41.99

SAMSUNG 18X DVD±R DVD Burner With 12X DVD-RAM Write Black E-IDE/ATAPI Model SH-S182D $32.99

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card $121.99

Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 w/Update Rollup Release 2 OEM 1 Pack $109.99

Total $1,118.90

Antec FUSION Silver Aluminum/steel MicroATX Media Center Computer Case 430W Power Supply $189.99

Since Antec puts their own PSU in their own cases, I'm betting that the case comes with the Antec TruePowerII TPII-430. If so then the PSU has two 12v rails. Each rail can provide 17 amps of power individually, but combined the two 12v rails will provide 31 amps or 372w of power. That is more than enough to power your system.

Just one question:

Does that TV Tuner work with onboard graphics?

-Wolf asks

That is a good question, i did not even think of that, i'll have to look into it a little bit. Thank you guys for your comments and suggestions.
