Yeah I have the exact same problem, any software I use tells me that my cpu is in a danger zone when (at 200 degrees). And the keyboard probably is a real pain in the ass. I assume that a bios firmware update in the future might fix it.

1. To read the CPU temp use Core Temp 0.9.0.91 which can be download from:

2. My USB keyboard seems to work fine. My 975X Platinum is revision 2.1.

1. There are 4 USB ports on the back of the motherboard, try plugging in your keyboard into one of the other ports.

2. Forget the utilities that comes with the motherboard, they're crap. Everyone has problems with them.

3. If you are referring to a USB optical mouse that all of the sudden changes the position of the mouse pointer on screen, then that's a typical behavior from what I've seen and experienced. There is no fix for it as far as I know, you'll just have to deal with it. Not sure if it's due to the USB interface or the optics, or the combination of the two.
