More info?)
I apologize for the "false info". I just did not see the prior
advertisement. It would be very helpful if you could please point out where
and when the advert took place. I personally think that the NG would be the
best forum for the advert, and since I only managed to get a 4 minutes
heads-up, I must be missing something.
I spent a lot of time (with other folks) going around in circle with
different MS groups who claim to have interest in figuring out how to make
these NGs more responsive and productive. We made a number of suggestions
and recommendation. Chat was one of the suggested options. Hit-and-Run chat
was definitely not.
When people come to these NGs to ask questions, it is because they have a
problem AT THAT TIME. I don't think people queue up their questions and
watch the clock waiting for the next "Chat" session to happen. If we are
going to do this Chat method, we better do it RIGHT. Otherwise, just dump
it.
