Ok, so ran into an odd one...
New Conroe system up and running. Asus P5n32-SLI Deluxe MB. Running a Nvidia 7950X2 video card.
Ran fine for several days. No troubels whatsoever. Then poof, while loading a game I got the blue screen error message for an error in the Nvidia Nv4disp drives (think that's right, not in front of the system at the moment).
Now, when I reboot, even after a sustained power disconnect, the syetem spins up, but no video signal. No post, no bido, nothing at all. The moniitor never responds to having recieved any signal at all.
Diagnostics so far...
Sustained power disconnect
Disconnected 3 additional hard drives to reduce system power consumtpion
Removed second video card (I have one main monitor driven by the 7950X2 and two additional monitors driven by a PCI nvidia 6300 video card)
Reseated all cabels.
Ok so... any suggestions? Preferably that do not involve resetting the motherboard as this board has no "save settings" feature that will allow me to restore the current state after a reset.
