How many computers can you have access a typical wireless router at one time? For example, how many people could I have networked together to play a LAN game with everyone on a wireless card? Does it all depend on the MBits/s that the router can put out?

Thanks

Typical home routers can theoretically have 252 or 253 clients. But sharing 10mbs on wireless will limit you to maybe 8 to 12 wireless connections with good ping times.

Depending on the router you may get more or less gaming can be a network hog .(Battlefield 1942) Then add in wireless and network collisions(five or six computers transmitting at the same time and them re-transmiting.

Basicall it will depend on your game and network eguipment.

Small wireless lans are not a problem. Large ones can be tricky.

I aint signing nothing!!!
