I wouldn't even think of upgrading right now...I just read in some article from a web site I can't remember about how some guy was speculating that this company somewhere in the world might be coming out withe the latest and greatest most up to date of all things in gpu and video card platform technology...and let me tell you, after hearing that, I plan on upgrading my entire system when it comes out...until then, I plan on waiting patiently holding my breath...

Should I hold my breath or wait for DX10? :?

Yea, you should upgrade. Get the Conroe X7900GTX. It has 56908 pipelines and pixel shaders. Also Supports HDR, HDR2, AA, AA2, AF, and AF2. Clock speeds are based on the 10GHz Netburst. So you get a card that will never be obsolete.

You should upgrade your comedic timing and humor. You're late to the show with some old shit.

Most definately not. I actually can't pick out a single bottleneck in your system. And considering the specific applications you use the system for, you should be all set for years to come.

Try getting the new Asus rioejgfirgfjiorgfjiorefe Motherboard. Its suppose to have 8 PCI-e slots. So pair 8 7950GX2s, all in SLi. Doing that, get a 10040596856856W PSU with 64 rails. Its the new *Fad* right now.

Some people in these forums like to acts like they know it all and dont like to help the n00bs, no offense, but the fact still remains that you are debating wether you should upgrade or not. My answer would be not yet, wait until Windows Vista will be realesed in the first or second quarter of 2007.

If you like the DX10 graphics, then do as i think is right, and hold off till vista is on the horizon. Trust me, and start saving up, you'll be steps uhead any other poeple would.

PLEASE tell me you're joking.
August 18, 2006 4:15:09 PM

Do i stutter?? no, hence I am not joking

You're advising someone as to whether or not to upgrade based on what?
Do you know this person?
Do you know their system specs?
Do you know what this person uses this machine for?
Do you know what OS this person uses?
Do you know if this person even owns a computer?
Shall I go on?????
And then, to make matters worse you link to someone's BLOG stating so eloquently that "DirectX 10 is freaking dooping fabulous".

OMFG 7h47 50 |337.

Way to do the research. You sure showed us. Did you bother to read the comments in that blog?

Of course it couldn't be anything like the OP did this as a joke or is just some stupid troll. If the OP is genuine and they come back, they'll hopefully use a little logic and realize that they need to supply a little more info in order to get more educated responses.

Start practicing your stutter.

Concepts that are soon reality, you got to stop thinking that the visual advancements from 9 to 10 are gonna be nowhere near the concepts. I'm assuring you that he is stating upgrading his GFX card. My thoery is that he should wait till dx10 and vista comes out, that way he wont be losing any money on "Todays" GFX cards.

Please take a moment to go outside and look way up in the sky. Way up now.

You see that vapor trail? That's my point and it is steadily gaining altitude.

This conversation is over.

Good day. :)
