Gigabyte DS3 + PQI 533Mhz 2GB Ram(not TURBO)

any problems?

i heard that the gigabyte core 2 board have quite a lot of problems with the ram compatability. also, pqi seems to be a less common choice for ram and the gigabyte list does not mention anything about pqi.

has anyone tried? does it work?

Well, as far as I know the problems have only been caused because the motherboards default RAM voltage has been too low for some faster speeds of RAM from some manufacturers. Seeing as it is 533mhz RAM it should be ok, and you could check the RAMs required voltage on the site, if its around 1.8 or 1.9v, it should be fine. I've ordered that motherboard too, and its coming on Tuesday, I ordered some 667mhz Corsair RAM, which said it needed 1.9v I think, so lets hope they'll both work.
