I am getting messages from network analyzer software that is telling me my
DNS is configured poorly and it is effecting performance. What am I doing
wrong, or what can I change to resolve this?
I get the following in netdiag

In the DNS management console, expand down to the baysideonline.com forward
lookup zone, right click on the zone and choose properties. On the General
tab, set "Allow dynamic updates" to "Yes" or "Only secure updates"
Restart the netlogon service, run netdiag /fix then,
run netdiag /test
ns /v
Post the results from the last test.

Your problems may extend beyond this one DC. How many DCs do you have?
I'd like to get a better picture of this because I'm getting a confusing
picture now.
According to this you have four authoritative DNS servers.
Authoritative NS:192.168.0.9 192.168.0.10 192.168.0.7 192.168.0.4
How many of these are DCs?
But I only see three DC names registered.
SRV 0 100 88 bayside-update.baysideonline.com
SRV 0 100 88 bayside-main.baysideonline.com
SRV 0 100 88 bayside-one.baysideonline.com
+------------------------------------------------------+
It also says you have four Global Catalog servers.
The record on DNS server 192.168.0.9 is:
DNS NAME = gc._msdcs.baysideonline.com
DNS DATA =
A 192.168.0.9
A 192.168.0.4
A 192.168.0.11
A 192.168.234.235
+------------------------------------------------------+
The part that confuses me is only two of the GC IP addresses match DNS
addresses.
If any DC is either multi-homed or has RRAS running with DNS you have to
make registry entries or you'll have connectivity problems.
While some of this can be explained if you have DNS running on member
servers, it will help if I had a better view of this and whether you have
multi-homed DCs or RAS running on a DC.
Active Directory communication fails on multihomed domain controllers:
