Right now I have a BFG Tech Geforce 6600 GT OC 128MB GDDR3 AGP8x Graphics Card. It is installed in my pc that has these specifications:

Pentium 4 2.6 ghz
1 GB 2700 DDR RAM
120 GB Maxtor Hard Drive
200W Power Supply
Sound Blaster Audigy Sound Card
ASUS AGP Motherboard

Yes I know I need to upgrade my power supply, atleast this is what I am told I have to do.

However I am looking at this card:

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item...

it's still an AGP card because I have an ASUS AGP motheboard.

Should I upgrade to that card from the 6600 GT OC I have or just keep my 6600 GT card?

Also on a slightly off topic note: I have an HP Media Centre the m300y series. I was told that HP has their own size power supply and I can't upgrade my current supply with a normal ATX power supply. Is that true?

Thank you for your help.

Jesus no. An X1600 is slower than a 6600 GT in most things.

Don't bother upgrading to less than a new X800 GTO/XL/XT or 6800 GS, or maybe a used 6800 GT which would be even better...

Agreed Cleeve. Also, that x1600pro is DRASTICALLY overpriced from what newegg prices it for. Try along the lines of a 7600GS or a 7600GT, but you'll have to buy a new PSU.
