Does the GA-965P-DS3 have a locked PCI bus speed, or is there an option in the BIOS to do so. I never overclocked before and would like a board that has a locked PCI bus.

Thanks for the answer, I guess. But do you have something against people who like to research products before they actually buy them? :!:  .
Now go and buy the board already and only come back for more questions when you've bought it.

PCI is locked at 33.... pci-e is adjustable. I've been running the board for 2weeks. So far, it is one of my favorite boards ever. I usually go Asus or Abit, so this is the farthes I've been up the alphabetically listing, but I like it. It OCs very well and is rock stable. I also like the onboard audio better than my sbLive. There might be better boards out there, but I think this is one heckuva 965.

Thanks a lot for the reply and great info. Glad to hear it is performing so well. On my current board (a piece of junk :( ) if I increase my HTT 10-15mhz, my wireless network card will stop working.

No, I'm running a TRENDnet wireless card. When I keep my PC at stock speeds, the card performs perfect. And I'm 2 floors above my generic router I got for $15  .

I am running a socket 754 board though :D

how do you like your ds3? is it a good board? any issues?

I like it :)

Its my first board on my first build. It posted everything on my first push of the power button ( After I was scratching my head and realized I forgot to flip the switch on my PSU). I will say that I did get a lot of help in the forumz and it was smooth and gratifying to see it turn on and make only one beep (everything is a-ok).

Its a great stable board as long as you stick to its memory list and 1.8v. Its easy to work with and has good extras ( i didnt care about no 1394 port)

The forumz are loaded with a great bunch of very helpful people :)
