Looking for your suggestion Cheapest solid MB & CPU combo to replace anchient Asus A7V266.


If it supports AGP and PC2100 DDR as well that would be a plus.

I may just end up building the $500 AMD system, more than I wanted to spend on top of the Conroe I am building but looks like I have little choice.

My current relic while still very functional for Internet etc. is too getting a bit underpowered for daily family use.

You cannot beat it for the price. It should work very nicely with the ASRock board.
