i have been hearing a lot about RAID, and my knowledge of it is that it combines hard drives.
Does anybody know where i can find a thourough explanation of how it works, i am considering doubling up on drives for data redundancy, but there are some things i dont understand and would like to read up on RAID so i can know it all
things like:
adding a second HD after a while
Partitioning
mixing raid and non raid
if anybody can point me to a good explanation that would be great
