Ok, I have a list now, of what i think i will get for my 600 dollar build. Here it is:

Antec LifeStyle SONATA II Mid Tower Computer Case 450Watt SmartPower $89.99

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 2000MHz HT Socket 939 $76.00

ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard $85.99

CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) $98.99

Western Digital Caviar SE 80GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive $43.99

NEC 16X DVD±R DVD Burner Black IDE/ATAPI Model ND-3550A $28.99

POWERCOLOR Radeon X800GTO 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card $89.99

Microsoft Windows XP Home With SP2 $89.99

Total $603.93

I just found this on Newegg:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102455

Is this a good deal? Ill be using this comp for COD2, Bf2, Planetside, CS:S, and maybe some other games. The price is a definite plus for me. Ive been recommended a 7600GS instead of the x800GTO. What the comparisons between the 7600gs, the x800gto and the x700? Advice is needed. Thanks.

Forgot to add, is this memory compatible with the list i have shown above?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146438

Thanks.

NO. That memory is DDR2 memory, which does not fit into a DDR slot. DDR2 modules have 240 pins; DDR modules have 184 pins.

Also, I'd get this Corsair XMS 1GB kit over the Value Select. It's $101 after a $20 mail-in rebate.

EDIT: Change the video card to

oduct/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102688]THIS[/url].

Ok, ill switch to the XMS ram, and the x850xt i guess. Not too much money spent, but good. Still open to suggestions.

Switch the CPU to this. It is only $15 dollars more, and the performance increase for such little money is a must.

I definetely agree with switching to the X850XT. Especially for your games like BF2.

Ya i did see that, maybe the x850xt is the better deal. Well this looks great, if theres any other things i can swap for not so much more(Up to 683, little past my limit) please say so. Thanks.

You can swap that Windows licence for something a little less "genuine" and save $90.

Also, I'd spend an extra $8 to get an Athlon 64 3700+. I can't beleive how much this CPU has dropped in price; I bought it in April for $220
