You have quite a limiting budget.

Personally, I'd say that in a rig like that you should stretch to an X1900XT

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_This_Week_Only_25.html

but its £225 inc VAT, thus stretching your budget by £100. You won't regret that card though, but you would regret the 7600GS if you plan on playing modern games.

Everything else seems fine... although I'd also prefer to put 2GB of RAM in a system like that, this would benefit not just gaming but audio/video/image editing applications.

Imho your system is poorly thought out, ie it has weak links. If I were you I'd wait just a little longer until you can afford a better graphics card and 2GB RAM... or maybe the prices will drop a little to fit within your budget better.

okay dave if I increased my allowable budget by £250 I could get that ATI card u suggested and 2GB of ram and that'll be the perfect system 4 me.

But it'll cost £850.I'm prepared to increase my budget by £150 more to fit that card in :)

just buy faster graphics card, u can always get more memory in your rig.

but[/list] if u get 1900gt instead of xt u can put another 1gb of that memory in those 650ł i think
