Internet via Satellite (UK)

I'd like to get broadband here in the UK but live outside an ADSL region (and I don't count on it ever being available here). Has anyone tried this new Satellite Internet service from Eutelsat/Activator/etc ? Is it any good / worth it? I'd be interested to hear any opinions...
