A few Questions about Xeon.

I will soon be building a new computer but I am undecided what I should get.

Originally I was planning on building a system based on the X6800 or Kentsfield equivelant. But now I am thinking of going more towards an Xeon(woodcrest) workstation.

I will be using this computer for CAD, Video Editing, Gaming, Internet, ect.

Cost isn't really that much of a problem.

Now for my questions.
1) Can you put a high performance desktop graphic card in an Xeon ws?
2) Is there a way to overclock the Xeons or are all the overclocking options locked in bios?
3) Is it worth it to get the Xeon system based on what I will be doing?
4) Will there be a noticible performance increase with the Xeons?

So far all that I have is the case - a CM Stacker 830

Thanks in advance

Hmm... well I'll try to answer this as best as I can...

1.) Yes but it may not be as good as a ws card.
2.) Yes, but not many mobos support it.
3.) Sort of, for basic gaming it'll be fine but for hard-core gaming I'm not sure. As for CAD and everything else, definitely.
4.) That depends on what you're comparing it to but yes, overall you'll get a pretty noticible performance increase.

Good case btw, have you checked out any lian-li's?

I've had Lian-Li's in the past, I liked them but wanted a bit of a change, then I found the stacker and it looked perfect, so far havent regreted it.

Thanks for the info.
