ECS C19-A SLI compatible with C2D?

I just won a brand new C19-A SLI at a LAN party i went to this weekend. After i looked at the website i cant find anywhere where it says it will run the new Intel processors. This is a very noobish question, but i havent ran an Intel system for some time, how is it that a motherboard of the same socket will not run the new Proccessors? I've really got my fingers crossed that this board and the E6300 will run together, cause i would love to upgrade my pc.

Its a cheap board and no it wont support conroe.
I would complain about that.
What kind of LAN partywould give away a cheap board that is basically obsolete?
