Is there a trick to open files, i.e Word documents, etc. if they are stored
on the iPAQ File store vice the Main storage? When I open an app and select
"All Folders" to open a file only the files stored in main storage are
available?

simply open pocket file explorer (start/programs...) find the file and
click it.

I suspect the "Ignore_my_docs" file is giving you a problem. See

I read the thread and tried removing, renaming that file and all that
happens is the OS (PPC 2003 SE) re-creates it. So, unless there is an
alternate workaround the only way I can see is you have to go directly to
the file and open from there vice using the apps folder browser to locate
it?

You *MUST* create \My Documents\ on the storage card/ROM file store
first and then delete the file or the OS will put it back instantly.

It's interesting that you wrote that two and a half years ago, yet
that crude approach still remains unchanged by Microsoft.

I'd hoped that on upgrading my WM2003 ROM recently I'd have found file
opening had been improved ;-(
