any experience with Biostar motherboard specially Biostar TForce 6100 AM2?

is this motherboard good a worth of buying? (USD $77)

i built it with x2 3800+ and corsair value select 512mb ddr2 667 yesterday, and found that the onboard vga could not perform well in 1024x768 resolution in a aoc ft720 17" monitor. it has diagonal linears frequent appearance, but not with 800x600. i double checked with other monitor from samsung and found the same result. my hypothesis is there is an error on the vga onboard and will go for a replace next morning.

any opinion would be much appreciated. thanks! :)

argh! this vga onboard sucks, coz it still has the terrible flicker vertical thing even after i replaced the motherboard from the store i bought.

it's not the monitor problem due to it has been checked on 3 17" crt monitors with different brand (aoc, samsung, advance). the only thing it goods at is with 1024x768 70hz refresh rate or at lcd monitor.

is the geforce 6100 chipset onboard having the same problem? can't displayed 1024x768 resolution with 75hz refresh rate or above refresh rate?

Pros: This is a great motherboard, even for somewhat new builders. Excellent overclocking and easy to set up. I bought this because of the onboard video until I have enough money for a video card and this works great.

Cons: The onboard video is a little fuzzy but that doesn't really matter since I am going to get a video card as soon as I get the money for one.

Other Thoughts: Defineteley happy with the decision to go with this board...paired it up with some PQI DDR2 800 RAM and an AMD Athlon X2 3800+ which works great. The automatic overclocking jacked my processor up 400 Mhz and it is running great.
