I had a ATI 9700 pro with 128mb ram. It just shot craps. I went out and got an ATI X1300 AGP which I could not use because I only have 250 watts in my DELL. It has been a long time since I really knew what cards are good. I want something that is close to the ATI 9700pro in power. Any one have some good ideas for a low power system, AGP.

More about : good card

If you don't want to upgrade your PSU, you should probably try to find a used 9700pro. Anything more will require you to buy a new PSU (even a 9800pro).

I was thinking something lower end last generation, but I've even seen 6200's requiring a 300W power supply.

So? SLI/CF requires at least a 500W PSU, but people run them on 400W ones.
