I currently have a swiftech water cooling and I thought of installing it first in my old machine and then in my new one. If I install it in the old one can I afterwards remove it and keep the water in it?
I have spare loop should it be need as they are different cases.

So basically you're asking "should I waste my time or not?" Common sense says put the best with the best.

I highly doubt that the tubing will be the same length from case to case so you will probably have to take it apart.

Just put it in your new machine and run the loop without power to anything except the pump and the fans on the radiator over night to test for leaks.
