Even if it's 4 C2D's it's a total waste. You can get 4 Core 2 extremes and still have money left for whatever your heart desires. Or you can build 3 replicas of the $10 000 grand prize that everyone made such a fuss about and still have some left (if you buy it on newegg or some place like that).

It's netburst architechture anyway so its bound to suck.

what's the point of this? those procs suck. You can even add them to your cart and buy them.

sure they suck for home PCs and gaming, but they're meant for use in high-transaction servers, where they do much better.

I'm still not sure if they're faster than say 2 core 2 6800's though, even there.
