Newbie question:
I am run Windows 2000 DNS service as Primary name server for zone
xxxx.yyy. wihout AD. Than somebody configure linux (bind) machine for
secondary server. Should I need somethink to configure on W2k server to
cooperation with secondary machine?

On the Windows DNS primary zone, you'll need to add an NS record for the
BIND, then on the Zone Transfer tab, allow zone transfers to the BIND IP
address. By default on the Advanced tab "BIND secondaries" is enabled, this
is for older versions of BIND Prior to v4.9.4 that do not support fast zone
transfers.
So if your version of BIND is newer, you can clear this check box to enable
fast zone transfers.
