Whenever I submit please by all means keep the following addresses.

abuse@google.com
abuse@yahoo.com
abuse@aol.com
abuse@teranews.com

You may send everything I send to one of the above addresses if you
feel it will make a difference. Why not also send this post to
abuse@google.com and abuse@yahoo.com? When I post from aol why not
send everything to abuse@aol.com?

I hope this will help.

Have a happy new year, and please send to the addresses after every
transmission.

John, I wish to apologize for trying to be civil to you in other threads.
Apparently you are not used to this kind of public behavior from others, you
do not treat others this way publicly, and I will try to do more of what is
expected from the typical usenet poster towards you in the future.

>> Whenever I submit... <<

These are public forums open to everyone, including you, but, you should
also realize that your only postings here have only served to portray
yourself in a very negative light.

The foundation of the forum concept is a positive helping environment
where all benefit, but your messages, which relate to a private conflict
between you and only one other poster here, cast a pall over the entire
forum and everyone who participates, yet you choose to ignore the
requests of many others, who are not involved in your conflict in any
way, to cease and desist your public actions and move to a private or
legal venue.

Have you so little regard for your own reputation that you are compelled
to continue to introduce and reenforce the negative associations with
yourself and your name?

Please! Allow these forums to provide the huge benefits they offer to
so many without the dark clouds that you introduce and infuse them with
with the content of your messages.

Well you can start by sending my post to abuse@google.com if you think
its necessary and if you can find some hard evidence of hate speech,
sexisim, racisim, or outright slandering.

It's sad that you cannot see what you are doing to yourself in the process.

What you fail to understand is that there's a big difference between
Usenet newsgroups and web forums or bulletin boards. The former are
public and must operate under the terms of their charters. The latter
are private, owned by the web site's owner, and the administrators are
free to remove any posts they want for any reason, no explanation
required.

No, not yet, but I'll keep my eyes open! BTW, is there anything for
ignorance or shameful envy?

Thats the whole problem no enforced regulations. Why even post rules
if even the administrators and owners do not follow them? I know on
moderated groups I am given reasons why posts are rejected when they
are. The administrators follow the rules.

You hype about this private nonsense. But on AOL boards the moderators
also abide by the rules, and can only remove posts that violate the
TOS. Rarely are my posts removed, but I've reported many, and in many
cases aol has thanked me for reporting the violators. Isn't AOL a
private service?

Yes, it's a private service, one you _PAY_ to use. Since you're paying
for it, the TOS is a contract. You have no such contract with free
boards.

BTW, exactly which rules do you claim the HPC Factor forum is not
following? I just read the rules myself and did not see any that say
that they cannot delete your posts. Please quote the specific rule(s)
you're referring to.

BTW, here are some rules you may not have noticed:

10. Moderators: In the event of a conflict please respect the words of
the moderators. Moderators have authority to manage the forum by
HPC:Factor and should be listened to. They can if necessary delete
topics and threads. Moderators are appointed directly by the HPC:Factor
Editorial staff. The specific reason why a user has become a moderator
is not up for public discussion. Like regular users, all Moderators must
adhere to these rules. If you feel that a Moderator has not acted
correctly please contact an Administrator

11. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time

12. The word of an Administrator level member of the HPC:Factor staff is
FINAL.

Note specifically where it says in #10 that moderators should be
listened to.

Again the entire problem. Clinton can do what he wants whenever he
wants. Clinton was having a hard time with Usenet so he made his own
forums some months ago. In many ways it has helped the community,
because most users did not use Usenet. Most do not even know what
Usenet is, or they think its lame because of the lack of HTML.

On AOL operators can do no such thing. On the apple forums the
operators have to follow their rules to delete a post yet that is
freeem explain this! They cant just delete posts, because they do not
like the author.
