heatsink/fan for e6600

Im just looking for an lga775 correct? Because i dont see anythat i labled specifically socket t on newegg. and is there anything else that i need to look out for? im a fan of thermaltake. thanks

That's because most HSF are designed to be compatible for many different sockets, not just LGA775. If you do a filter on that at Newegg.com then it will list only those HSF that are compatible with LGA775 and no other socket.

I'm going to be using the Scythe Ninja which is compatible with both LGA775 and S939. If I am not mistaken, it is also compatible with S754 and 478.

ok thanks i was just concered about the thermaltake not fitting but i guess it will so ill go with that thx guys

Unless your planning on getting the highest o/c's possible on air - the stock cooler in the retail box works just fine. Even for decent o/c's.
