What would be a good video card choice on an old motherboard like this?:
http://www.msicomputer.com/product [...] turbo2.htm

I'ts an AGP 4x MB and AGP Memory is limited to 256 MB
I'm running an Athlon XP 2000+
And 1GB of PC133 RAM

Looking to spend around $100 but not sure how much the MB will bottleneck the Graphics Card.

Currently I'm considering a 256MB Radeon x1300 or Geforce 6600.
I'm assuming my MB won't take advantages of the PRO/GT versions of these cards running at higher speeds?

Oh - I'm looking for gaming speed...not video editing.

I would go fo the x1300. It will probably perform better for gaming.

Uh, I'd think the 6600 is better for gaming but the x1300 did get an honorable mention in that videocards for every budget post that's really well done, points for good dvd playback and image quality, if not framerates.

You might go for the 6600GT which is much better than a x1300.

My bad, I meant to type 6600 but I guess I was thinking one thing and typing another. Thanks for correction, I wouldnt want him to get the wrong card.
