Hello guys, I would like to OC my C2D 6300 with the DS3. I'm very new at this so if you could point me to instructions on how to do it, what settings I need to change in my BIOS etc.
I have the following system:
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Socket T (F4 BIOS)
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1900XT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe 1066MHz FSB LGA 775
G.SKILL 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) F2-6400CL4S-1GBPK (4-4-4-12 timing)
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler
Antec NeoPower NeoHE 550 ATX12V 550W Power Supply
+3.3V@24A, +5V@20A, +12V1@18A, +12V2@18A, +12V3@18A, -12V@0.8A, +5VSB@2.5A
Right now the CPU is running at below 30C, everything is stock. Again, what do I need to change in the BIOS and what tools should I get for proper testing? Thanks!
