wich are the TOP3 mobos for Conroe

atm u can only get LGA 775 boards as far as i know.
theres 2 that stand out from the rest.

P5N32 SE $300 (AUS) US$???
-only SLI board that supports conroe at this present time.
-runs all 16 channels from both gfx cards whilst in SLI


P5W DH $400 (AUS) US$???
-best board for OCing at the present time.
-crossfire x8

These are teh 2 i was looking at for my E6600 and I was leaning towards the P5N32 simply because im not an OC'er and the SLI x16 would benifit me more. However i am waiting for nforce 590 boards to come out as are alot of conroe buyers, they have nvidias new chipset and are meant to be impressive pieces of hardware. You should probably have a look at some of these other threads in regards to 590 boards b4 making your decision.

the one i got (see my sig) its got everything u could ever want (apart from SLI/Crossfire) buts it cost a lot at $490AUD, ppl get 400mhx FSB on this thing and its 0db which is a huge plz and wot i always stress when i tell people bout it is the Onboard sound is absoluty outstanding, no buzzing or nething of anykind

well actually i ve been w8ing for the new 590 nVidia c/s as well but im kinda loosing patience....my old pc no-more so i have no pc since 5 weeks and that postponement is driving me crazy.....so i kinda decided to c wich r the best options i ve got at the moment if i can no longer w8 4 the 590 mobos...im not interested on the sli feature of the upcoming mobo.i jsut want maximum performance from my mobo and good o/c potential 4 later.another thought i had was to buy a crappy mobo 4 now lets say arround 70-80 $ and as soon as the 590s r out get one of those babys.thats why i wanna know wich r THE BEST mobos 4 conroe now and not in 3 weeks time..dunno if i can w8 that long any more...
what about the wifi model from Asus.aint that a top performance mobo????
and another question,wich intel chip is better the 975x or the 965 ??????

965 is the newest and will be the mainstreamchipset for intel for a while, and y are u waiting on that nvidia mobo 4, just for sli or some special feature?

im w8ing on that mobo cause it is supposed to be better than the excisting options.as i said i m not interested on the sli feature.i jsut want a maximum performance mobo no matter the cost (thats casue here in europe prices differ so i will have to search for it).isnt 590 mobos supposed to overcome the intel c/s based ones????

intel make the cpus so i have trust that my make the best chipset. only thing nvidia offers over the intel one is sli , and just cuz a site says it may be better is there ne proof?

imo gonna spend arround 1400 euros since im located in greece (and prices in europe r in general +30/40% than in the states.
i have allrdy bought my VGA an eVga 7800GTX KO wich i found in a special offer at a cost of 200 euros.wich leaves us 1200+/- for the rest.imo gonna get the above so taht i can give u a taste
case: Thermaltake Armor Black -->> 148 euros
PSU: Enermax Liberty 500W -->>100-105 euros
HDD: Seagate 320 giga 16mb buffer (and later on when i got teh extra bucks i will add anotehr one in raid) -->> 105 euros
RAM: either the OCZ platinum 6400 2x1024 or geil 2x1024 6400 (both r kits) i can find ocz in greece but the geil i wanna i can only get it from da UK wich is a flaw check here OCZ -->>247 euros GEIL (from uk) 257 (shipping included)

intel d975xbx...for stability...and if you're willing to do a few mods, for overclocking. Has to be rev. 304 or higher.

That case is just OVERKILL and ur money is WAYYYY better spent elsewere. im telling u know thats a major waste.

and as far for the 975 c/s.isnt 965 better and newer than the 975?
i plan to get this baby if i dont w8 till 590 is out.
now for the general money factor.as i said im located in europe.take a look at the prices in europe and then tell me wahts wrong with my built and whats better than waht i picked up allrdy ok? (check overcklockers.uk for example)

Its now wots BETTER its whats worse if u get wot i mean? that case is great but i just beleave its way to overkill and its worth a lots of money better spent else were, checkout some antec cases there great value,

the 965 is never and slighty better then the 975, i dont know y intel used a lower number for something newer it just get ppl mixed up.
